This privacy policy describes how PERGOSOL AS collects and processes personal data in connection with visits to our website and customer relationships. The policy provides you with information about your rights, how we handle data, and what measures we take to protect your privacy, in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. 

We do not share personal information with outside parties, unless specifically described in this statement or you have given consent. 

 

1. Data controller 

PERGOSOL AS, through the CEO, is the data controller for the company's processing of personal data. Certain tasks have been delegated, but the overall responsibility still lies with the CEO. 

 

2. Purpose and what personal data is stored 

2.1. Use of the website 

When using pergosol.no, you can voluntarily provide personal information by contacting us via form, ordering products or signing up for newsletters. The information is used to: 

  • Respond to inquiries 
  • Process orders 
  • Improve user experience 

Information such as name, email, telephone number and any messages are stored. 

2.2. Newsletter 

By subscribing to our newsletter, you agree that we may send you emails with relevant information and offers. We send a maximum of 4 newsletters per year. Email addresses are stored securely with our newsletter service and deleted upon unsubscribe. 

2.3. Email and telephone 

When contacting us via email or telephone, we may store necessary information to follow up on the communication. We recommend that sensitive personal information is not sent via email, as this is not encrypted. 

Calls are logged with time and phone number, but content is not saved. 

2.4. Customer relations and offers 

When making offers, orders and purchases, the following is stored: 

  • Name and contact information 
  • Address and delivery details 
  • Products and order history 

This is necessary to manage the customer relationship and deliver the products. 

2.5. Statistics and analysis 

We collect anonymized information about website visits for statistical and improvement purposes. This includes: 

  • Visit duration 
  • Used pages and features 
  • Browser and traffic source 

IP addresses are anonymized before analysis, and data is only used in aggregate form. Services related to hosting and displaying the website are partly provided by our data processors. All access data and data collected via forms on the website are processed on their servers. This data is deleted after 7 days at the latest. 

 

3. Cookies 

PERGOSOL AS uses cookies to give you a better user experience. On your first visit, we ask for your consent. We use tools and cookies from external suppliers for analysis and marketing (e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc.) based on your consent. When the purpose of use ceases, the data is deleted. You can manage and delete cookies yourself in your browser. 

 

4. Storage time 

We store personal data for as long as necessary to: 

  • Fulfilling an agreement 
  • Comply with legal obligations 
  • Have a history of customer service and purchasing relationships 

Information is deleted or anonymized when it is no longer relevant. 

 

5. Legal basis 

The processing of personal data is in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Norwegian law, based on: 

  • Your consent 
  • Agreement (purchase, offer, etc.) 
  • Statutory requirements 

 

6. Who has access? 

Only employees of PERGOSOL AS and authorized data processors have access to your data. These are subject to confidentiality and secured through access control. 

We do not share your information with third parties unless: 

  • It is necessary to provide a service (e.g. shipping, payment solution) 
  • You have consented. 
  • We are required by law to do so. 

Our subcontractors include: 

  • Newsletter provider  
  • Web developer and operations provider 
  • Facebook and Google (digital marketing) 

All data processors are subject to data processing agreements. 

 

7. How we secure the data 

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorized access. This includes: 

  • Password protection 
  • Access restriction 
  • Regular review of routines 

 

8. Your rights 

You have the right to: 

  • Insight into what information we have about you 
  • Correction or deletion of incorrect data 
  • To have your data handed over (data portability) 
  • Withdrawing consent 
  • To object to treatment

10. Changes to the Privacy Policy 

PERGOSOL AS may update the statement as needed. In the event of major changes, you will be informed via the website or email.
